- Blakus parādības: Īslaicīgas sāpes, pietūkums, asinsizplūdumi, izmaiņas krūšu galu jutībā
- Rētu izzušana: Parasti sāk izzust pēc pāris mēnešiem. Pilnībā neizzūd. NB! Ķirurģijas bez rētām nav!
- Riski: Implantāti nav mūžīgi, tādēļ var būt nepieciešamība operēt vēlreiz pēc 10-15 gadiem. Var rasties vēl sekojošas problēmas: kapsulas kontraktūra; sāpes krūtīs; izmaiņas krūšu galu un krūšu jutībā; nevēlamas krūts/krūšu kosmētiskās izmaiņas; implantāti var ietekmēt zīdīšanu ar krūti; apgrūtināta mamogrammas veikšana.
- Rezultātu noturība: Dažāda. Krūšu implantāti nav mūžīgi. Var rasties nepieciešamība pēc papildu operācijas, lai izņemtu implantātus vai lai tos nomainītu, jo novecojot āda un audi vairs nav tik stingri.
